About Us
Paw Pack started in 2019 as a way to provide fun, structured, exercise to dogs of all temperaments - even the ‘‘difficult’’ ones.
Our mission is to foster a healthy working relationship with each dog by fulfilling their biological needs, and providing them with appropriate outlets that enrich their need for both socialisation and exercise.
How are we different?
We understand that all dogs are different, and pride ourselves on working with an adaptable approach towards behaviour modification and dog handling - we believe in catering our approach to the dog in-front of us, as no two dogs are the same.
Before a dog joins the pack, we conduct a comprehensive behavioural assessment to uncover their quirks as well as the areas they do and don’t exceed in - thus helping paint a picture for wether they’re suitable to be in a pack environment, and, how we can help integrate them in when they’re ready to join.
Once your dog joins the pack, we help guide them through all of the necessary exposure (ie. basic commands & obedience, on leash heel, pack drive and group follows, down stays, off leash re-call and in some cases - selectivity/dog reactivity) to help build a sustainable working relationship between handler and dog, and, provide them with the tools they need to perform cohesively with the rest of the group.
We focus on structured socialisation and incorporate a heavy focus on behavioural modification and development, in order to provide both you and your dog/s all of the necessary fundamentals they need to become a balanced, socialised & stable dog.
Where did it begin?
Paw Pack was founded by Chloe in 2019.
When she adopted her oldest dog Charlie, they worked through an abundance of fear aggression and dog reactivity issues with the help of other talented trainers. Through this journey, she paired her knowledge of structured socialisation and training with her personable understanding of dog selective traits to begin helping other owners with similar struggles.
When it comes to working with dogs, Chloe focuses on emphasizing and improving two key parts of the dynamic - relationship and communication. She believes in using a balanced approach to dog training which enables the ability to be adaptable with the way you train, as no two dogs are the same.
Currently, she holds a Certificate in Animal Management (Canine Behavior & Training), alongside a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Animal Management & Welfare.
